INTRODUCTION:

Welcome to my comprehensive guide of fitness and exercise tips designed to help you in achieving your health and fitness goal. We are living in a world where fitness information is trending on every site and is easily available, I have designed tried and true strategies to provide your fitness journey with a clear and effective roadmap. You should be aware of few important things before starting your workout journey to observe effectiveness of your designed workout plan. Either you are doing home or gym workout, these tips are applicable to both. Let's get started!

TIPS TO IMPROVE YOUR WORKOUT:

ALWAYS START WITH WARM UP:

Warm up exercises are designed to to bring resting muscle of the body into functional form. Properly warming up your muscle makes them active and alert for your next exercise leading to decreased risk of injuries. I have seen people performing only muscle specific warm exercises before starting their workout, this can lead to pain, soreness and injuries of other muscles. From my personal opinion, you should always start with full body warm up no matter how long it takes. Another tip for gym goers is that never include treadmill exercise like walking, running or sprinting into your warm up, doing this can drain your energy just before your actual workout.

INCULCATE PROPER FORM:

Mastering the form is the key to avoid any sort of injuries during workout. Start your exercise with less weight and try to perform the proper circuit of exercise and gradually increase your weight when it becomes comfortable. Focus your mind completely on the muscles while performing your exercise, this will help you to feel more contraction of the muscle. Never fear from being judged. No matter how weird you look while performing an exercise, always learn proper form because every fitness model was once a beginner.

MAINTAINING PROPER ELECTROLYTIC BALANCE:

It is important to use proper pre-workout before starting the workout to maintain optimum energy during workout. You can either use supplement loaded pre-workout or your own home made pre-workout. It is also important to stay hydrated in between your exercise. low levels of electrolytes results in fainting between the sets. I personally use electral solution when I feel dehydrated. You can more energetically complete your workout by using lemonade instead of water in between the sets because it restores electrolytic balance in body.

VARYING INTENSITY AND EXERCISES:

Doing same exercises with same weights can ruin your gains. Our muscles have the property to adjust to the weight applied on them. With time our muscle adapt to the stress and movements performed on the daily basis so it's better to switch the pattern of exercise once it feels comfortable. Gradually increase the weight to continuously challenge your muscle and encourage growth. From my personal experience, it is better to follow one month pattern that means design a schedule for one week and repeat the same schedule till one month, then change the schedule and follow the same steps again. This will help in creating different patterns of exercise.

PROPER STRETCHING:

Heavy exercises always brings stiffness and soreness of muscles. Always do proper stretching exercises after completion of your workout. This will help in relaxing tensed muscles fiber and decreasing muscle contraction. You can divide your stretching exercises into upper body stretches and lower body stretches. Proper stretching also increases flexibility and range of motion of joints. Stretching your muscle properly decrease soreness and pain of the body. From my experience everyone should include atleast one session of yoga in a week.

OTHER TIPS:

Rest properly between your sets because improper rest can cause failure of upcoming sets. Do not forget to breathe properly in between sets. Pull your stomach muscles inside while performing any exercise, this help in working on abdominal muscle. Avoid ego lifting in gym, use only those weights which you can pull because ego lifting can lead to serious injuries.
